If you’ve seen my Instagram then you’ve definitely seen one of my favorite images from Monica and Clinton’s Belmont Country Club wedding. Monica and Clinton’s first look will probably go down in history as one of my favorites. Clinton’s reaction was so vocal! But okay before we get to the first look, let’s not leave out Monica’s getting ready details! I loved incorporating part of Monica’s train into the getting ready details with her shoes, invitation, and wedding day jewelry – so soft and romantic! I also LOVED her “something blue” aquamarine ring – it’s my birthstone after all.

Monica didn’t even hesitate with the sideways rain and her dress during the first look! Upon immediately turning around, Clinton exclaimed “OH MY GOSH. You’re beautiful – I get to marry you?! Let’s get MARRIED! Oh my gosh.” It was one of the sweetest moments between the two of them! Clinton couldn’t stop showering her with compliments and smiling from ear to ear!

After a quick ceremony, we captured some family photos at the church then headed back to Belmont Country Club for wedding party portraits and bride and groom shots! The rain held off (for the most part… it was a little misty) for photos but the fog made it seem a little more dreamy, especially in those black and white shots! I actually loved shooting in the fog! I was happy that Monica and Clinton trusted me through the weather to capture some truly romantic just married portraits!

The reception kicked off with the newlyweds dancing to Millionaire by Chris Stapleton – one of my faves (I didn’t tear up… I don’t know what you’re talking about) followed by parent dances and speeches. Monica and Clinton cut the cake and thanked their guests for coming and wanted to make sure everyone was having a good night! They know how to make their guests feel loved!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Eickelberg! Thank you for letting me capture your wedding day!

Love this shot of Monica reading her note from Clinton.  A favorite!  Love these foggy ones! “Come back later. I’m dancing”  Someone was really happy about being a flower girl but not so happy about walking down the aisle or walking into the reception.

They danced to Millionaire by Chris Stapleston and I love that song and I didn’t cry at all.  Monica danced with all the men in her life including her new father in law – such a sweet moment!  Trying to drag this guy to the dance floor!  Celebrating 41 years of marriage!
