Haley and Robbie’s Washington Golf Club wedding was one of my favorites of the year. The day was filled with sentimental family touches throughout. As someone who is super close to her family, I loved all the special momentos that Haley and Robbie tied into their day to make it THEIRS!
First, they tied the knot on October 22 in the same church that Haley grew up going to and the same place where her own parents got married! I was blown away by all the details starting with Haley’s custom-made wedding gown made with lace from her grandmother’s wedding dress. She also wore her mother’s wedding shoes and had lace in her veil from her great grandmother’s veil! The family touches made me melt… I love how how she incorporated special pins into her bouquet and also had a custom monogram stitched into her dress and also used throughout the details of her invitation suite and cloth napkins at dinner.
Nothing was forgotten in the detail department! Let’s not forget about Robbie’s details – he wore his grandfather’s cufflinks and carried his grandfather’s pocket watch! During the reception, they cut the cake with Haley’s grandfather’s sword from the Marine Corps – her parents did the same thing on their wedding day! You see what I mean? Nothing was left out! I loved the closeness I felt between both families and the excitement and love throughout the wedding day… not to mention the mad dance skills from all of the guests at the wedding! Black Tie Band killed it with hits from the 90s to current hits! The dance floor was NEVER empty!
Thank you to Haley & Robbie who braved the chilly weather to take these gorgeous bride & groom pictures on the golf course at Washington Golf and Country Club! They were total champs because I know it felt like it could snow outside!!I loved this family hug moment!!!!Right after cake cutting, Robbie sang!!! He played “I’ve just seen a face” by The Beatles and it was AMAZINGGG!CONGRATULATIONS, HALEY & ROBBIE!!!
A huge shoutout to all of the amazing vendors who helped make Haley & Robbie’s day so successful and beautiful!
