Friday night was a wild night, I kid. My mom and I spent the whole day researching hotels for our two week adventure to Austria/Germany/Switzerland at the end of July. Good news – we booked almost ALL of our hotels! We have two towns left to book hotels for but we’re in the home stretch and I feel a lot better! I can’t WAIT for the photos and blogs to come when that trip happens!! I’m getting so excited! To be honest, I thought we were going to Greece this summer but after doing some research our plans changed and I’m actually really excited to travel to some of these towns that I have never heard of until we started planning! I’m really looking forward to our stop in the Lauterbrunnen Valley because I can’t stop saying Launterbrunnen… it’s fun to say… ANYWAYS. After a long day of staring at my laptop and switching through tabs and tabs of hotels, we ordered pizza and had a chill night and watched Game of Thrones. Confession time: I’m only on the second episode of Game of Thrones. I’m slowly getting into it and trying my best to follow the story line!
Saturday was spent at Quattro Goombas Winery with friends! Pics or it’s not real… well we forgot to take a group photo! The weather was cloudy, breezy, and a little cool which was perfect for me! We were mesmerized by a gaggle of children running through the field chasing bubbles (who knew it would be so entertaining to watch). Us, “adults” even starting popping the bubbles that got away from them… Mary committed to a bubble and ended up falling out of her chair… #anythingforthebubble. haha!
Is it even a weekend if I don’t go to Bluemont Vineyard? Caught up with some friends I hadn’t seen in a longgggg time! Ended the weekend with some bocce in the backyard and an early bedtime. When I say early, I mean before midnight. 11:59 counts.
