CARSON | MEADOWLARK BOTANICAL GARDEN SENIOR SESSION | VIRGINIA
Last week I photographed Carson’s senior session at Meadowlark Botanical Garden! It had been cool weather all week EXCEPT for Thursday! The heat spiked up to 94 degrees! Carson was a good sport and I think we got so many cute photos!! You might recognize Carson as the bridesmaid and sister of one of my 2016 brides, Delaney. (Her Rust Manor Wedding HERE). Carson reached out to me in the Fall about wanting to wait until spring for senior portraits because she really wanted there to be flowers blooming! Meadowlark seemed like the perfect spot! We wandered around and found a gorgeous patch of pink peonies and some flowering trees! Later in the session we even ran into a raccoon – who didn’t even hesitate as we walked by – I guess they’re used to it at the park! Scroll down to see our little friend…

We called this “fake golden hour” because it was only 5:30pm and sunset wasn’t for 2 and half more hours but it sure did look like golden hour in the “jungle!”
