MAEGAN & ANDREW | EARLY MOUNTAIN VINEYARDS WEDDING | MADISON, VA

In the beginning of March I had the pleasure of second shooting with Anna Schmidt Photography at Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, VA! I’ve worked with Anna a few times and every time, we have such a great time together! Remember when that crazy Nor’easter was slamming the east coast? Maegan and Andrew had originally planned for their ceremony to take place outdoors but made the executive decision to move it inside because of the insane winds and bitter cold! Luckily their wedding team (Kim Newton Weddings) was able to turn it around and made the space just as special! Romantic candles with florals by Courtney Inghram Designs, who can go wrong?

I hung out with Andrew and the guys – it was fun photographing all of Andrew’s details – especially his most prized possession, his presidential service badge!

Not pictured: Me driving Andrew’s chevy up to the barn where the first look took place! Picture 6 dudes dressed in suits sitting in the back of a pick-up drinking beer and bumping along up the hill and me panicking hoping I don’t hit a pothole and throw the groom off the back of the truck. eeeeeek!
