If you’ve been following me for a while then you know that my friend Kir and I met on Instagram, met in real life, and have been friends ever since. You can follow us on Instagram (#Tubenfeld). I’ve traveled with her to quite a few out of state weddings and have enjoyed dancing to Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber with her at 3 am while eating pizza in New Orleans… okay well you probably didn’t know that last bit. Anyways, we’ve got each others backs when it comes to business and chatting about everything. In this business you realize that sometimes you want to vent and get the dirty out… you want to high five each other on wins and feel the YAYs with them – because everyone wants and needs support in small business – and in life in general, let’s be real.
A while ago, Kir had told me she wanted to host a workshop. I was like – girllll you go but also girllll when are you ever actually IN D.C. and not jetting off to who knows where, Cuba, Utah, New York, New Hampshire – (you think I’m kidding??) haha… but after a bunch of work and help from Sarah of Sincerely Pete Events (CHECK HER OUT – she’s a BOSSSS – @sincerelypete) The Real Talk Workshop came to be! I was honored to take behind the scenes photos at the workshop and get to hangout with some incredible business owners and workshop attendees all day!! The not so glamorous side of a styled shoot is when you have to unwrap, remove stickers, and unpack… every single utensil, glass, cup, plate in sight and then repack all of it at the end.
