BURLINGTON PLANTATION | RICHMOND WEDDING VENUE
What a perfectly sunny day to check out Burlington Plantation! This new wedding venue is located in Charles City, VA, just 40 minutes from downtown Richmond! Burlington Plantation can host small weddings and large ones, up to 500 people for cocktail style dinner or 300 seated – wowza! What I love about Burlington is how private the property feels for the wedding day. Wedding couples can spend the whole day here – from the getting ready through the reception. Burlington has TWO getting ready suites for wedding day couples- with windows and natural light! Say, whattttt! Burlington also lets you spend the night! There are two bedrooms in the main house and room for 8 adults in the cottage! Pretty sweet, right? That could be convenient for brides who start hair and makeup at the crack of dawn.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more happy to see a well lit “grooms” suite. I actually couldn’t stop talking about it!! So many times grooms get stuck in some cave somewhere or don’t have a space at all. Cheers to this spaceeeee!
