Life Tip #1: Make a Happy Playlist

Education

July 1, 2015

We all have “blah” days. That isn’t something new! When I’m having a “blah” day or just feel like I need a little boost, I put on my happy playlist. No, not Pharrell’s song on repeat… These are songs that, no matter what I’m doing, put me in a good mood! They’ve got to be upbeat and catchy… you know the ones! I listen this playlist when I’m sitting in traffic to and from a session. Nothing like having a mini in-car-dance-party-sing-a-long with yourself! (I’ve gotten some laughs when I’ve looked to my left and seen the driver next to me laughing or pointing… haha!) You can either choose to be angry that you’re going 2mph OR jam out to some tunes for 45 minutes and just… “deal with it!” I have songs from all genres and I am constantly adding to my iTunes library…

Here’s are some of my happy/sing-a-long/jam out songs! (Click the song to hear it!)

  1. Dreams – Life of Dillon
  2. Beat of my Drum – Powers
  3. Shut up and Dance – Walk the Moon
  4. Live Like A Warrior – Matisyahu
  5. Bang my Head – David Guetta feat. Sia
  6. Runnin’ Outta Moonlight – Randy Houser
  7. The Wolf – Mumford & Sons
  8. Overload – Life of Dillon
  9. Homegrown – Zac Brown Band
  10. Hit It – American Authors
  11. Sweet Nothing – Calvin Harris feat. Florence Welch
  12. Stole the Show – Kygo
  13. This is how we do it – Montell Jordan
  14. Riptide – Vance Joy
  15. Beachin’ – Jake Owen
  16. A Little More – Kaskade & John Dahlback feat. Sansa

I could seriously go on…. but it’s your turn!

Now, go on… make YOUR happy playlist!

xoxo, Brett

Love this! I admit that I jam to Taylor Swift more than is probably socially acceptable. But I looooove listening to Iration. They are a reggae band that just scream summertime to me. Great post!
