MADDIE & LUKE | STAR HILL RANCH WEDDING | AUSTIN, TEXAS

Maddie and Luke’s Star Hill Ranch wedding was such a great way to end out my 2018 wedding season! I think it’s safe to say that you’ll be able to FEEL the emotions in this wedding. From the emotional first looks between the bridesmaids, Maddie’s dad, and Luke to emotions during the speeches (speeches ALWAYS get me too!!!), and the pure happiness and joy that Maddie and Luke shared on the dance floor. I’m so grateful to have been the one capturing their special day!

I was lucky enough to meet Maddie’s family a few years ago while shooting another wedding in Lexington, VA. We had an instant connection and we kept in touch through social media and when Maddie got engaged I was HONORED to be asked to  travel to Austin to capture the wedding! Upon meeting Maddie and Luke, you know they’ve never met a stranger – their smiles immediately make you feel warm – also their bear hugs – truly two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met!

On wedding day, the decision was made to move the wedding and reception indoors because it was too cold and was supposed to rain! Plan B worked out just fine! In fact, I was able to capture all portraits outside and I finished my last family formal portrait just before the downpour – omg, #blessed. Once the reception kicked off, you couldn’t tear anyone off that dance floor!! Highlight: Maddie and Luke singing every word to ice, ice, baby – ahahahahaha.

 Maddie and Luke attended Texas A&M and were both in the Corps of Cadents – had to capture those Aggie details!      

Getting ready for his first look with Maddie!  Cue the tears… immediately!!!  Ready to see LUKE!   More tears!!!! Brother sister! Sister brother!  Just look at this radiant bride!  Obsessed with this one. Obsessed with this location – okay hill country!  What a dream!  Happiness!!! Talk about an exit!  The new Titus/Barrett family!  Sweetest looks between the two of them during the speeches – can’t get enough of it!  Maddie and Luke literally danced… allllll nighhhhht longggg – this is not a joke!  Mr. Titus broke it DOWN! That’s a wrap for #CantBarrettWithoutYou!!! Thank you Mr & Mrs Barrett for throwing one heck of a party!!
