CAROLINE & DAN | SUN VALLEY IDAHO WEDDING

I don’t do a lot of second shooting, but when I do it’s normally for my pal, Kir Tuben! Grateful for these destination wedding trips where we get to make memories and shoot pretty awesome weddings! I ventured out to Sun Valley, Idaho with her in September to photograph Caroline and Dan’s Trail Creek wedding in Sun Valley, Idaho! Complete with Sincerely Pete Events and Natalie  (of Designed Perfectly Events) who assisted her!! VA/DC team in ID!

Here are a few shots that I captured while second shooting! We spent nearly 4 hours two days before the big day just photographing Caroline and Dan’s details! Hello blue and white beauty!

Obsessed with this cobalt blue Mrs Box! His & Hers! Got a little artsy with groom deets. Dan gifted all of his groomsmen with a map of a city special to each of them. This is Jimmy, Caroline’s brother, and he got Chicago!Cue up that first look! Tears, tears, tears. Caroline said this is only like the second time she’s seen Dan cry! Pronovias looks good on you, Caroline! Note the groomsman with the broken arm… that he got the day before the wedding while ice skating at the hotel. eeeeek! I popped over to the reception space while Kir stayed behind at the church for family formals! GO team go! Chinoiserie everywhere!

Thank you Kir for always taking me on these epic wedding adventures! I love shooting destination weddings – change of scenery and a chance to go to a place that I might have never been to before!
