Dover Hall has been on my Richmond wedding dream list ever since I saw it on Instagram a few years ago! I was so excited to work with Jordan and Mark at this gorgeous venue. Not only did the venue rock, but the couple, Jordan and Mark, were super easy to work with! From the moment we clicked on the phone to their golden hour Virginia Beach engagement session I knew it would be a great day! I was also super excited to work with three of my “friendor” friends. Vendors who became friends when I moved to Richmond! We made a great team and the day ran so smoothly! Thankful for the overcast day which helped in creating gorgeous portraits out front to the sun that snuck back in for sunset portraits! Guests enjoyed a live harpists as Jordan and Mark walked down the aisle to say I Do on the back terrace under a beautiful floral arbor created by Cultivate Event Co.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while the family gathered for portraits outside in the front driveway. Once it was time for the reception, guests made their way down into the ballroom as the wedding party and newlyweds descended the grand staircase into their first dance! The Silver Bullets kept the beat up all night as guests danced in the ballroom or sat outside on the terrace under the romantic bistro lighting. At 11pm, the wedding ended with a sparkler exit outside and a limo ride down the driveway… only to turn around and bring Jordan and Mark right back because they were staying the night!! TBH, I’m super jealous and can only imagine how rad it is to stay the night at Dover Hall!!
Casey did a gorgeous job of creating a organic and romantic garden bouquet!
