PHARSALIA WEDDING
Pharsalia is a hidden gem flower farm and wedding venue tucked away in Tyro, Virginia just outside of Charlottesville and Lynchburg! When I moved to Richmond, I drove to Pharsalia to take a tour of the venue to familiarize myself with the property and write up a blog post about it (which you can read, here!)! This venue is for you if you love gardens AND mountains and love the idea of natural beauty for your wedding. Last Fall, I had the opportunity to second shoot for my friend, Corrin Jasinski Photography, last Fall at this gorgeous venue and it was so beautiful! It’s easy to make wedding photos at Pharsalia look amazing because there is so much variety for photos around the property. See for yourself!

It’s pretty awesome that Pharsalia has an in-house florist since they’re also a flower farm! Pretty cool to use flowers straight from the venue!
Just before we stepped out for bridesmaid photos – it started POURING. We watched the radar and waited for the showers to pass before going back out for photos! Thankfully the storm was short and didn’t delay the ceremony at all!
The storm clouds made the green and blue pop even more in the distance – loveeeee.
H & S shared a non-visual first look. I had never seen anyone do a first look like this before! We had S close his eyes as we placed H behind him. They stood back to back and silently read the letters they had written to each other and then exchanged gifts. It was such a sweet moment!
I know what you’re thinking… I thought you said this wasn’t a first look! S kept his eyes closed the whole time while they shared a hug before H went back inside!
Come on, now! Look at those beautiful fall flowers and that gorgeous view! Are you kidding me?!
