Leslie and Sam invited me to their cozy little town of Danville for their engagement session! The two live there with their bernedoodle Winnie, and they showed me around to all of the neato spots for our session! Because of Covid, the streets were nice and empty and we could literally stand in the road and not get run over – which is a definite plus for those super cool photos in front of the different colored doors on old warehouses. I’m a sucker for cool doors, brick buildings, cobblestone streets… and couples who feel like old friends – so it was pretty much one of the best sessions ever. Leslie’s warm and outgoing personality fit perfectly with mine and Sam was a major trouper wearing long pants and long sleeves during that 88 degree summer heat without a complaint. I can’t WAIT for another fun photography experience when these two get married in Charlottesville later this Fall!
To no surprise, I had so much fun going through the photos from their session and love the personality that radiates in each frame! Thank you, Leslie and Sam for such a great experience in Danville and for the craft beers that you surprised me with at the end of our session – we’re craft beer soulmates!!
Winnie is a total camera ham. Hysterical laughing is always welcome… Lots of cars in the street but not a soul in sight!
