EMILY & HEATHER | RICHMOND PALMER CHAPEL ELOPEMENT

EMILY & HEATHER | PALMER CHAPEL | RICHMOND WEDDING

As Covid-19 hit, cue panic mode for literally everyone on planet earth. Weddings were (and are still!) being postponed or canceled left and right. With the unknowns confusing to navigate, Emily and Heather decided to keep their wedding date as planned and have an intimate ceremony with their immediate families present. The date had meant a lot to them and they decided their marriage to one another shouldn’t wait! Both immediate families gathered to watch the “I DOs” at Palmer Chapel at Hollywood Cemetery overlooking the James River in Richmond. The river sounds and the sunny day with huge white clouds was a beautiful setting for their ceremony! After the short ceremony, we captured family photos and some “just married” portraits! Emily’s Dad kindly invited me back to their home for dinner but I told him to rain check after covid is over! I’m so happy with how these photos turned out for the newlyweds – a gorgeous day, a sweet couple, and proof that plan B can be just as special as plan A. Love wins!
