AMANDA & DAVE | MAYMONT ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Amanda and Dave met on Hinge when they were both working in the New York City area. They recently moved to Richmond to be closer to family. At the end of 2019, Dave proposed to Amanda on a getaway cabin trip outside of Charlottesville. “The first morning after breakfast we were sitting on our deck enjoying coffee and reflecting on the past year and our big move to VA when Dave said “I have one gift for you, cover your eyes” (we decided with the move/this trip to skip the gifts that Christmas) and when he told me to open them, he was down on one knee. It was such a special moment, just the two of us together! The next night we celebrated our engagement & New Year’s, it was the perfect surprise to wrap up 2019!!”

OKAY the engagement session location. Maymont is a dream for engagement photos! After rescheduling due to rain, TWICE, I was finally able to meet Amanda and Dave (on a very hot Summer day) to capture their engagement photos! I’ve seen the Italian Gardens before but I had NEVER SEEN the Japanese gardens and obviously I have been missing out!!!
