CATE & ZAC | FALL LEESBURG WEDDING

Cate and Zac tied the knot on Cate’s family property in Leesburg, Virginia! It was exactly how Cate dreamed it would be after growing up picturing her wedding on her parent’s property. Family and friends gathered as the sun started sinking into golden hour as Zac and Cate headed down the aisle to make things official!!

Before tying the knot, the gals got ready at Landsdowne Resort (with mimosas… or full champagne bottles in hand). Cate opened her gift from Zac- a walk down memory lane full of photos, tickets, and special moments from their years together. “Zac saves EVERYTHING.” There was laughter and there were tears – it was really cute!

The reception is one to be talked about! There was a photobooth, a Beer station, and a cake from Milk Bar! Cate and Zac’s wedding party crew came in with their own shticks and Mrs and Mrs Rocco came in with their Nightmare Before Christmas heads! Cate and Zac danced to Free by the Zac Brown Band, she and her dad laughed and smiled the whole time during their dance, but Zac danced with his sister (since his mother passed away years ago) and I’m pretty sure everyone was crying.

The sweet moments kept on rolling… Cate played her brother’s first dance song with his wife because they celebrated their 9th anniversary the week before and then Cate had one request for everyone… her cousin, who is currently battling cancer, couldn’t make it to the wedding… but her cousin’s ONLY request was that everyone get on the dance floor and dance to Livin’ on a Prayer. OH MY GOSH. I had already packed up my stuff but I whipped my camera back out to capture everyone belting Bon Jovi at the top of their lungs and it was a really special moment!
