STAIGE & JARRETT | CAPE CHARLES ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Every time I shoot in Cape Charles, I can’t wait until the next time! You might remember the beautiful wedding I photographed on the Eastern Shore in 2017 at Elkington. Staige and Jarrett were actually guests at Elizabeth and Will’s wedding… do I remember them? Sadly, no… there were 500 people there… hahaha. BUT I do love that they have seen me in action! When Staige and I had her inquiry phone call, we chatted back and forth for at least an hour! Classic, you hang up, no you hang up, porch lag wait I have one more story, 15 more minutes kinda phone call. We obviously clicked really well and I was SO excited to get their “we want you to be our photographer” email!! Staige and Jarrett told me they chose a friend’s property for her beautiful garden and we needed the shoot their engagement photos in May before all the flowers died! I had ONE free date left in their timeframe and we made it work!! Staige kept me updated on outfit choices and ordered a really beautiful dress from an online boutique! So thankful it was a gorgeous sunny day for their session. I really enjoyed wandering the property and finding perfect spots.
Meeting Staige and Jarrett for the first time at their engagement session was like seeing old friends – it was as if we already knew each other! I can’t wait for their summer 2020 wedding next August in beautiful Cape Charles!

LOLOL. Walking is hard in wedges on uneven grass. Sorry Staige, I had to.
OMG. 
That diamond lookin’ gooooood in that fluffy pink peony! May or may not have taken a lot of patience to get this shot because the wind picked up and I had to keep waiting for it to stop blowing that flower all around!

Managed to chase that golden hour glow to the edge of the property and ended the night with the most beautiful shots in this pretty spot under that tree!!
